Advice re asking price for a Sib,etc
Hi everyone,
I'm seriously considering selling my Sib, etc and would appreciate advice as to what would be a fair asking price. I appreciate that prices have rocketed but all I would seek is a realistic value. The details are as follows ;
Excel SD330 Sib (air floor over a wooden sectioned keel floor) - 2010 model?
Yamaha 8hp 2 stroke outboard engine - 2008 model?
25ltr plastic fuel tank and rubber line
Stainless steel launching wheels - 2017
When I bought the set up 2017 the original owner had advertised that the boat and engine were in immaculate condition. The boat had only had about 20 hours mainly freshwater use and the engine about 60 hours and they had obviously been well cared for. For a variety of reasons I have only added about another 12 hours use but to be honest I stupidly managed to superficially damage the engine cowling and on another occasion I had to abandon the painter but otherwise the boat and engine are pretty much the same as when I bought them. The Sib has no patches or leaks and the engine is a good runner.
I would also include the manufacturer's oars, instruction manual and carrying bag, Yamaha tool kit and owner's manual, baler, manual inflator, ear muffs flusher, folding anchor, intact 1ltr Quicksilver 2 stroke oil, etc.
If I definitely decide to sell I will, of course, post photos (or attempt to!).
Many thanks.
