Aerotec, floor protection.

Added some tape to rear edges of the floor where it meets the transom. Had it out today and was quite amazed to see the wear it had.

Anyway removed the old stuff and added some more and a layer of rubber mating to try ans give it some more resistance

Personally I wouldn't worry. I've owned three Aerotecs from oldest to newest and none of them have suffered with wear in this area to cause an issue.

Unusual that, I’ve just put mine away after a full deep clean from a week in Dartmouth and it has no wear there. Have you tried adjusting the floor position so it’s doesn’t rub up against the transom?

Tbh I just used the ties that position the floor to locate. It didn't seem close enough to rub but maybe they were lose when I last used it. I'm taking it out in a few weeks so i will take a look then......if I remember..
