afternoon out and we only used 2 liters of fuel

after the slip was cleared of boulders by the clubs bucket tractor we had an afternoon run out at teesmouth ,went out to sea for a while then on return came across the hartlepool lifeboat towing a broken down fishing boat from 14 miles out ,as it was low tide they couldent put him at his berth in paddys hole so he was tied up on an outside mooring ,he asked us to tow him in when there was enough water .which we did after lashing along side the fishing boat as sibs dont steer very well towing something much heavier than its self in this case the fishing boat was around 40 feet long and weighs about 9 tons. ,, then we still had a run about up to greatham creek and another run out to seas, ,. total fuel used all day was just 2 litres , happy sibbing to all out there ,mart.
