Airdeck keel/hull

Hi all. I'm new to the forum and relatively new to sibs. I've always been on the water but never owned an inflatable. Can someone tell me if the issue in the photo is correct or what I should do about it? It's the ply support under the airdeck between the deck and keel. To me it seems too short but I've made a new piece 200mm shorter and it sits without showing through the Hull but im not 100% convinced its how it should be. I was always under the impression it was meant to be a semi tight fit between the tubes.

Looks like it’s digging into the floor?

Have you got a photo from above?

What is the boat/model?

No that's the Hull in the photo. From above the deck sits as flat as it should being an airdeck.

I really don't like the look of that. Is it a Boatworld SIB? New? If so get in touch with them and ask... they're helpful.

BTW welcome to the forum.

Looks similar to the issue Steve had when he first bought his excel 360, the ply strengthener was too long, as though for a different model, if I remember correctly?
