Alfons Haar Valve Repair RNLI type valve

Hi I wonder if anyone can help?

I have bought an oldish Bosnian made inflatable tender made by Gradacac I believe and it was sold as the owner had no pump and no use for it as they had a tender and so I took a gamble at £40!

I managed to get air into both tubes and found its single old repair was leaking so bought a Hypalon repair kit from Ribstore and put a patch on and then pumped back up and found both valves are leaking not so much from the top cap but from in-between the large plastic bush that sits on top of the Hypalon and the upper valve body that seats upon it ie both are on top of the fabric.

I see that new valves are available from Ribstore but are not inexpensive at £36 each and there is a service kit but knowing now where they leak the service kit would not make much difference plus even with the large circlip removed I cannot extract the valve internals!

Anybody had any experience of these valves according to Ribstore they are used on RNLI inflatables and military commercial inflatables. Is there a way to effect a repair or is it only a matter of replacing the whole valve many thanks Peter

Have you had a look through the How to Guide for the service kit for the Alfons Haar? https://www.ribstore.co.uk/pages/dia...haar-sf1-valve
