Any ideas which model this could be?

Hi All,

I was given a very old Avon Sport Boat last year and have finally got enough time to repair it. It is 3.2m long and I also have the wooden floor sections for it which just need a bit of varnish.

I am about to start cleaning it up and replacing the valves all of which have small age related leaks.

There is no data plate on the transom - my brother-in-law had the boat given to him about 8 years ago and can't remember/doesn't know the model number.

My main reason for wanting to know is to size the engine correctly. I would like to be able to use it on the sea and also on rivers. I was thinking maybe a 15hp? Could it be bigger?

I have also seen some really cool retro pictures of the sport boat with a spray guard and visor at the front - any ideas where I can get things like this?

Would love some expert advice or any ideas you may have. Thanks in advance.

Paul

Boat jumbles can be a good source for retro parts unless anyone on here has one for sale
