No I am saying I see all the good stuff that the guys in the uk are selling. I am jealous not xenophobic, seems to me someone is feeling rather pugnacious today Willk? Yes donedeal and adverts are great. Driven many an hour to look at absolute junk being sold as new. I even had somebody crash into my car with the car they were trying to sell me. If your wondering it's not the best sales tactic. Reason my jeep is currently in the body shop.
My last post actually had nothing to do with my previous revolution talk and more to do with my done deal frustrations.
But I digress I do enjoy done deal, actually I think I might be a bit addicted to it. I just prefer to buy something from a known source though because chances are your not trying to load off your crap on me.

Goes with the shillelagh!

Srsly though, most of what's for sale in Ireland is "pure scrap" - always was. I bought my 9.8hp from a perfect gent in Wales - worked out OK. FYI there are plenty on scammers on RIBnet too - I nailed one earlier today. I think what I'm saying is that the Ireland Classified isn't a flyer, IMO. The Boss in absentia/the Patrician - Lord Vetinari/John Kennett may opine to the contrary...

I wonder if you would have any luck looking in Northern Ireland or shipping to Northern Ireland? It's only next door if you're in Donegal... That might not help, but it might be an option... Ridiculous as it might sound shipping to NI might be cheaper than to ROI but I'm not speaking from experience.

Yeah I looked into it briefly it's just paying the price of the pound makes it really not worthwhile. But I keep my eyes open!

Owner seems unaware of what an impellor change is and has been doing all his own maintenance....

Yeah didn't say the impeller was ever changed scary. Seems pretty dang pricy. Feel like there are whole rigs going for what he wants.

I am looking for a bit of a project I don't mind replacing stuff or doing tune ups. Need something under a grand

Sadly no I need a long shaft. I currently have an Evinrude but it's a pull start and I switched boats to a 5.2 rib and well I think I need a bit bigger something on the back of it. The motor that was on the boat was a 50 Johnson.

The 500 I would save on a less fuel efficient motor would more then make up for the cost of fuel. I don't do really long trips. Well currently I really don't do any trips.

Can you really trust an Irishman who is drunk? Most the time they just tell me they are my best friend...?
