Anyone know where you can buy just a air deck for a sib ?

As above, just want a airdeck for a 2.7m sib, are there any sort of universal ones ? it has a wooden slats at the mo but I hate them and want to modify it.

Any ideas

Jesus they know how to charge don't they ! You could buy half a small sib for that.

Thanks for your help, appreciate it, I will keep on looking see if I can find a second hand one or one cheaper.

Bear it in mind they may be easier but your boat won't be as rigid and may not be able to handle as much power as the air floor.

With mine the floorboards are a bit of a pain if you keep taking the boat apart but can't you just chuck it on a roof rack? Would save a lot of bother!!!

If its the slatted floor, then most the ridgity will be from the tubes anyway.

Lukey, are you after the comfort that an airdeck provides, or are you looking for somthing thats sturdier to stand on than the slats?

Not true - the slats are pretty flexible on their own but then you drop in the ali bracing struts and it becomes really rigid!!!

Both really and the chance to save a bit of weight. And the pic of the slats is the type I've got, I had a 4.5 with a ali floor with the spars to hold it all together that was very solid, but the whole idea of owning this small boat is for fishing and carrying it to less accessable areas.

Really want to get a porta-bote but they are damn near impossible to buy in the uk second hand
