Are these Chinese SIBs any good?

Hello all. I'm new to the forum, however I have been lurking for a while now ever since I became interested in inflatable boats.
I'm looking at buying a SIB directly from China as i'm very close to the Chinese border and the process of importing is simple. I'm not really able to find any of the brands aimed at the western market in China and I will be buying online (Taobao) so I only have limited specs and photos to go by. I'd like to ask your advice on whether any of the following options look any good. I'm looking for a boat for inshore fishing in relatively calm waters (2-4pax max). V hull with an aluminium floor. I was thinking something around 3.8m so there's a bit more space in the boat. I have a double cab pickup truck so should be ok for space. Here's some photos of what's available along with prices. Perhaps they might look familiar. The Coralsea 3.8M is around $1000/ 750GBP and the XG- Star 3.9M is $1,650/ 1,260GBP. Both seem to use 1.2mm German fabric.

Any good in what respect?

If you take an alloy floor 3.8m SIB pretty well every one from cheapest to most expensive will perform broadly the same on the water re speed and handling.

So it might be features which are important to you such as seating arrangements or positioning of grab handles etc... even colour schemes.

Re quality China will build up to the highest quality or down to the lowest price depending on the customer (i.e. Brand or retailer) requirements. And then that quality needs to be maintained by checks through the construction and supply process.

These you link to are an unknown in the UK so you will have to take your own decision on them.

They are ALL no good , including Zodiac and Highfield .

Sell them after a few years of use.

Once you accept that, your life will be much easier .

Not sure of this guy's location but you are so wrong from the experience of UK users.

He lives in a country bordering China.

Sorry, brother.

I'm on my 4th Chinese boat and just can't recommend them.

Yes of course Steve.

All Saturns are made in Korea.

I'm just not a big fan of budget Chinese boats.

For the same money, a used quality boat will last longer .
