How many adults can I carry on this boat?

Hi Felix, welcome to RIBnet. I've just moved this to the inflatables section where it might get seen more.

It will be great 2-up and should work well with four on board. You can get more on, but the more crowded it is the less suitable it will be in any sort of chop.

To get a properly useful answer you'll probably need to tell us a bit more about what you're planning to do with the boat and an idea of what size motor you're running.

Is yours an inflatable with outer skin, timber transom and a wood/alloy floor... or a GRP hull RIB?

In any case I think Avon said either could carry 6 people but that would be crowded and only suited to a short flat water estuary type trip.

From my experience going on the sea 4m is super roomy for 2, OK for 3 and full up with 4. Makes a big difference though if you are talking about 220lbs+ adults or skinny teens.

I'm assuming it's a Supersport S.400 which is an inflatable with a wooden floor and inflatable keel. I've had a look through at some old posts and the manufacturer's rating was to carry 6 people.
