Avon ERB

I have been offered one of the above, but I have absolutely no idea of what it is or who/where it was made for. Google tells me its a rescue boat, but whats the floor made of (The picture I have been sent looks like slats ) ?

Has anyone got any experience with them, are they good sibs ?

Cheers

RIBase
I had one, the floor was aluminium slats with an inflatable keel underneath. Was okay on flat water, but it did flex a lot.

Belive it was designed to be easily stored and for fast deployment. Used by the fire service I think.

Thanks, its in a council warehouse so it makes sense. Probably some kind of flood rescue boat for the area. There is no trailer or engine that anyone can find, but knowing our council those items could have 'walked' out of the door years ago
