Avon firecrest sib

Hi all, i've just bought a Avon sib & some of the valves are leaking they are type 4 valves, also there are a few patches coming away from the tubes otherwise it's not in bad nic what's the easiest way to take the old valves & Patches off so i can replace them ? any advise plz
