You need to check around the end cones. Are you sure the end cones themselves are not porous and leaking? Either way, that means peeling back the hypalon fabric until you are satisfied there's a strong bond.

Clean up the hypalon, and the rubber end cap. You need to be meticulous with this part for a solid repair. Degrease, etc. Use PVC 2-part glue, apply thin layer on the rubber end cone to get a decent surface key, then 2 thin coats of hypalon 2-part glue. Full instructions on a Polymarine's site.

Theoretically you could add a hypalon fabric seam around the sponson and overlapping onto the end cone.

Going to try to tackle this.Seam is leaking, caps are ok Im a bit confused. On polymarine site it describes glueing rubber patches to PVC and I quote
Quote:
Note: PVC Adhesive does NOT stick to Rubber.
PVC Adhesive DOES stick to Hypalon Adhesive.
Hypalon Adhesive DOES stick to Rubber.
Would applying PVC adhesive to the rubber end caps be futile unless the caps are not rubber ?
