Avon (Searider?) Length

Hi all,
I have an Avon (I think it's a searider) rib and I don't actually know how to measure it?! Can someone advise where to measure to and from? I think it is a 4m but I want to check.
There is a serial number GB-............ but it doesn't give away any obvious clues.

Finally I'm not sure about the flooding hull. Under the drain bung there is another screw in bung. I can't see anywhere else obvious to fill the hull with water, should I keep the hull full?

I'll get a better photo tomorrow when it's light outside but it is an Avon although maybe not a Searider. It's either a 3.4 or 4m but I'm not sure where to measure to and from.
Second photo is the lower drain plug that I'm not sure about.

It looks like a Seasport / Supersport.

Hi Orkenny, have you any photos you can post as a picture can tell a lot. I owned a 4M Searider for 18 years and was great as a diving tender. I now own 4.7M Searider which is a good step up from the 4m.

Ok, looks like a supersport. The length is usually from the tip of the bow to the end of the cones at the stern. My guess is a S4.00 and the old brochure I have says 13'2". Hope this helps.

Thanks selkiediver the measurement is about the 4m mark indeed. Should the hull be full of water?

The hull only floods on some Seariders,this does not have a flooding hull.
The hull floods through two holes on the bow and empties out a 2" diameter hole at the centre bottom of transom when the rib goes on the plane again.
Unfortunately your rib is not this type.

Hi Orkenny, your hull should not flood, so should be dry. The small bung is to drain any small amounts of water that gets in to the sealed part between the deck and the bottom. The principal of the flooding hull is that when accelerating out of the hole, the water rushes out of the large hole at the rear air is sucked in through the two small holes at the front. The opposite happens when stopping. I sealed up the holes when I replaced the transom and the boat felt completely different.

Looks like an early Adventure 4.0 meter or 13' 5" model . Maybe a super sport , not a flooding hull model.
