Bad shipping problem minor repair

I just received a delivery of a 10.5 ft. Aleko gray with a wood floor. Unfortunately I'm not completely satisfied but after waiting 10 days for it I'm not anxious to sent it back over something minor..the shipping carton look like it fell off the truck...battered...no major damage but right where the black hull bottom was folded up in a corner of the carton it must have scraped something and wore through the first layer and showing the white mesh fabric of the second layer. About 1/16th of an inch diameter...real small but I'm pretty sure I don't want any saltwater getting in. My question is what besides the patch that you usually receive in a kit can I use to patch it...like something in a tube that's pretty rugged like the bottom itself?
If you Google this on internet you can look into whether or not it will work.

RIBase
Is it not possible to call the manufacturers/shipper out to do the repair to YOUR standards?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Similar thoughts to Brian... I'd be after the supplier replacing the boat, arranging or paying for a proper repair or if it suited you to repair yourself giving a discount to the value of a commercial repair.

If repairing yourself do not use a tent/airbed repair kit with single tube glue but go to a proper inflatable boat repair supplier for the correct thickness of material and a 2-part glue.

I appreciate you want to use it but bide your time & contact the seller.

You've paid for a brand new undamaged item & you've got a damaged one.

If you do decide to stick something over the damage & subsequently have problems then likely you'll find the warranty void.
