Beach launch dorset

Im looking for somewhere to launch with transom wheels around Dorset, preferably west, which is sandy, all I have found from research is very rocky pebbly beaches. It would be great to find somewhere that the family can chill out on a blanket & take the kids out a couple at a time & beach it when not being used. I guess this is unlikely as most sandy bays will be used for bathers.

Grateful for any pointers

Kimmeridge might be suitable, nice bay for kids to rummage around in & a small slipway to launch from

Swanage is pretty good. There's a free slipway next to dinos takeaway in swanage. I hand launch my thundercat there & many other people launch sibs & kayaks. Easy slip to use & right next to the beach

Have never launched there but Charmouth may be a good option, friend of mine launches SIB + 15hp with transom wheels regularly, nice beach as well

Swanage sounds promising especially if its popular as i would feel safer with a few other boats about that could assist if we had engine trouble, feel a bit vulnerable in the sea with the children in the dinghy

ISle of Purbeck in Dorset, lots of sandy beaches and lots of options.

Swanage - nice stretch of beaches, once launched head to far end of beach and you will find it deserted even in the height of summer. I often anchor down that way and swim assure.
Studland Beaches - Knowle Beach, Middle Beach, and the other One South Beach, same beach that goes from Poole Side all the way to Old Harry side, studland bay, pub 100 yards walk from south beach !
Poole Harbour Baiter - then you can go across to brownsea island
Kimmeridge
Lulworth cove, bit pebbly

On swanage beach right now and most of the boats are at anchor as it's an easterly wind and reasonably choppy as Luke said launch at the slipway near dinos "chip square" as it's known can be a bit of a mare peak season with lots of people near there or parking where they shouldn't , baiter park in poole is good very easy to launch always people about.

Just looked at Baiter Park on Google maps, looks great! Can you simply turn up & launch from the beach or do I have to pay to use the slipway?
Isn't Brownsea Island private?

Cruised past Charmouth last month from Lyme Regis harbour slipway but avoided approaching the beach as there appeared to be lots of rocks hidden just below shallow water, put me off as I thaught I could easily catch the dinghy floor if I tried to navigate through them to get to the beach.

It's possibly fine for somebody with a bit of knowledge but as a newbie I diddnt want to put the rugrats at risk.

You only pay and display hence if no trailer it's free, no real beach there thou ... Brownsea is national trust think you can land there in certain areas
