Beaufort Base 9 help

I have just taken this as a swap for an old scooter and hoping to use it when away in the camper. Not sure if the this is the correct transom for the boat and if it is I’m defiantly missing parts. I’m guessing this is a mid 80s boat and there is no info online that I can find. Any help pointing me in the direction of parts ect would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forum. That's a boat make we hardly see on here these days.

Have you see that Polymarine used just that boat model for a restoration project to demonstrate their products. Might be an interesting read for you.

Thanks for the reply. Yes I did come across that website when researching. I will reach out to them to see if they can advise.

Transom doesn’t look like it fits properly. The holes in the rubber grommets on the boat should engage with the bracket, otherwise you’re going to lose the lot over the side.

You might be able to get one fabricated. An original transom will be difficult to source. Have a look at Avon Redcrest or Avon 8 transoms as a comparison.

Thanks pal I will look into those. We did notice uv marks where a different one sat so have looked into fabricating a frame to hold this one in place for the moment until something more suitable is found/made.
