I'd possibly consider getting rid of the old fuel in the tank though, although 5 gallons is a lot to waste - if its been sat in there a long time then it might just cause you issues in future

Cheers Rik,
Your right it was a real bargain I was just "at the right place at the right time" as they say and that it was very badly listed as explained in my "Thoughts and Advice" thread.
Again your right about the prop (well almost) it is "new to me" but again another "ebay special" that I could not resist its a second hand 13" pitch at £33.00 delivered it does look brand new so I thought that even if its too highly pitched it will be a good reserve, the 1 that was on the engine is I think a 10 1/2 " pitch but in very good condition, I feel a up to Loch Lomond coming on very soon probably early September just to try it all out and see how the props perform.
The fuel in the can (was 5 gallons) I have been running down by running the engine in my wheelie bin just to get used to starting it and getting a bit of confidence in the engine/gearbox etc. so probably only about half of that left now so I will probably mix it with fresh fuel and I am sure it will be fine.
