Best adhesove

Hi all

The rowlocks are coming adrift on the sib. Any recommendations as to the best adhesive to stick them back with?
Thanks in advance.

Trouble is, I don't know if mine is hypalon or pvc.
My guess is that it is pvc as its a cheap boat but I don't want to damage it.
Is there any way to tell easily?

Ok, next question, should I glue them back with the boat inflated or deflated?
My gut instinct is to fit them whilst it's inflated because now they have partly peeled off, when inflated you can see a gap to the edge of the old glue.
However, it would be much easier to apply pressure to the bond whilst it cures if the boat is deflated.
Thanks in advance.

You have to use a combination of inflated and deflated. They are better positioned when inflated as they are easier to manipulate then let them down to roll them to the flange. Then reinflate to fit tapes best to have a hoover with a blow function as they inflate the tubes almost instantly. The harder you roll the glue the better the bond you get so sometimes you need a bit of ingenuity to get a piece of board or similar behind to get pressure on

Many thanks all.
I've ordered the glue from polymarine so I'll give it a go when it arrives.
I don't use the oars much anyway but don't want to be without them.
Makes it much easier on a shallow beach as you can board at knee height then row out until there's clearence to the skeg.
