Best place to launch Ogmore/Porthcawl

New to this and was wondering if anyone has recommendations for launching my small sib in the Porthcawl area.

Porthcawl harbour has public slip, by the lifeboat station, ogmore I'm not sure there is a ramp


Newton beach slip is porthcawl powerboat club members only but many kayakers use the beach to launch (membership is open if you wish to join) but unless a member would have to carry sib onto beach to launch.
