I live down this way, have always kept a boat on hope cove. Currently a small rib, friendly place, safe and easy to launch most of the time. Should be out over the weekend

Busy on the beaches today but not many boats out I was one of two ribs at the pilchard - a few more boats moored up around hope cove but a glorious day

I was stuck at work today but had a wander on hope cove this eve. Was admiring that posh brigg rib on the beach, which I now believe is Midlifes's?

Thanks ,there are a couple in hope , ours is the blue one on the beach , perfect size for zipping around the bay's and for two of you to push up the beach once the day is done , we found the mackerel at last on Monday and they are in off the rock at thurlstone ..after about 60 I gave up as the boat was covered in slime , the kids loved it , just had to watch for hooks on tubes .we were anchored off lannacombe yesterday in the hard boat, too exposed in a big swell so packed up after a few hours and moored up off mill bay in salcombe in 2 ft of water , the kids played on the beach all afternoon and it was allot easier to get on and off the boat .we headed off to start point but it was too rough for the kids...the sea was deceptive from the land , but very rough on the points ., the weather has changed this morning though a bit misty just now.
