Don't blame you - some of these people aren't exactly Usain Bolt fast when it comes to updating their websites...

Potentially lost a few sales, another 2 people were there too

I'm not knocking Bill higham as they may offer good service, but I guess I'm not the only person to waste valuable time travelling there

Update your website bill 🕰

I guess a long trip to a marine business out of season would warrent a phone call, quite a few closed around here ( south coast ) on Saturdays until Easter.
Springs just around the corner

Fair comment Fenlander

I guess they aren't busy yet, but it wouldn't be difficult for them to state seasonal opening times on website

Just in case Fenlander misses this, it was Fender who recommended a phone call.
Personally I've been caught out by other shops before so now phone ahead if it's any distance just in case there is some reason why they ain't open.
But I do get your point and am always suprised at how poor some websites are. A good website is like a good shop window!

Good spot! Fenlander hasn't contributed to the thread at all. Interesting what gets misinterpreted on here.

Me for example.

On a car forum someone has the same username as mine just different by a full stop... now that really confuses me as I end up defending things I'd forgotten I'd said... and then realise I didn't.

I think Fender and Fenlander merge for the same reason we can read this...

I cnduo't bvleiee taht I culod aulaclty uesdtannrd waht I was rdnaieg

I'd deffo ring first if towing the rib, we got caught out a few years back taking our caravan to a big insurance repair shop, they advertised being open all day on a Saturday but were shut when we got there just after midday
have you tried Liverpool power boats, excellent service and nice staff

I've always found Ian to be very helpful, great for servicing outboards etc and a good accessory shop too
