Boat and Engine sorted
Right, Boat sorted, 3.1 air floor 3D Tender, now, seeing as the chances of me ever finding the mystical Tohatsu 9.8 at a price I can afford are probably zero, I settled for a very nice Yamaha 8 HP 2 stroke at only 27 kilos, perfect for me on my own to get in/out of the boot and onto the boat.
Just waiting for the engine to arrive in the next few days, a settled bit of weather and take her out for a spin.
Anyway, it may not be the perfect combo, but thanks to a lot of research on here and some very helpful members I could at least make an informed decision, air floor, weight of motor, 2 v 4 stroke etc etc.
Hopefully the set up should be fine for me and occasionally my son in law and/or grandson to do some inshore fishing on the North Devon coast, fingers crossed maybe she will plane with 2 up??????
