Boat and outboard security

Apologies if this has been done countless times before - I have tried a search!!

As background, I have a Honwave T38 if it helps with specifics...

I am wondering what people use for security in various scenarios.

1. Boat moored up at pontoon (whilst you have lunch). Anyone could take the boat - No keys with most outboards and kill switches are very cheap to buy...
2. Boat stored next to Tent whilst camping (Outboard handle locked to tow bar, outboard locked to boat?)
2. Boat left at camp site whilst out in vehicle (Outboard locked to fence?)

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

this has been discussed as recently as the last two weeks so if searching doesn’t help - browsing should find it. Search something like theft and filter it to 2021 should find it though.

I’m not a big camper but I’ve never stayed on a campsite where I’d have been especially concerned about security - presumably if people were going to Nick stuff there are far easier things to wander off with in all the tents etc. Lock the engine to the boat. Lock the boat/trailer to something if you need to (is there some way you can lock a transom wheel?). Only a determined thief will bother with anything vaguely difficult and they’ll cut any security you might fit - so all you are really doing is stopping drunks being idiots.
