Bombard Aerotec 380.

Hi everyone there is a Bmbard Aerotec 380 for sale locally only used twice so looks like new. My concern is the boat is 1999 so I’m worried about how long it’s likely to last. I would appreciate any advice thanks. It’s advertised at £1295 seems quite expensive for a boat off that age.
Thanks.

If that really is a 1999 it will never have been used only twice in 22yrs.... folks make such claims but rarely true. Also it is one year off the first production and four years over when they usually give glue problems. If that is a boat with all its OE bits like seat, pump, bow bag and Zodiac transom wheels value around £500-£600 if no seam splitting yet.

If you view look so so hard at any clue the seams are parting or for previous glue repairs.

You'd probably be far better off at that money with a new Honwave T38.

Thanks for the advice I have only seen the boat in the advert but it looks as new amazing for a 22 year old boat. I was worried about the seems I might have a look at it it’s local but probably no point in buying something that’s going to give problems.

Oh well if that Johnson is around year 2000 or newer and a decent runner plus if the Bombard has OE transom wheels then you have your money in those things so maybe worth a punt. If it's a ragged old 1970s Johnson then I'd still not bother.

Ahh OK... previous advice then. £1295 for a potential end of life 380 is daft money even in these times.
