I am not sure, I just thought that if it is hot and sunny where you are and given that the boat is black, they may be needed. Never had an issue with sun here... unfortunately.
Yes it does get very hot here, I do have a white cover and during the summer months keep the tubes around 2 psi during storage

What is a wee gauge ??

The white cover sounds like a good plan.

From what I have heard, with inflatables, if you have the engine on it is important to keep the boat inflated properly in order to provide the strength/ rigidity to support the weight at the transom. I suppose this is most important when moving the boat but I guess it is still the case during storage too.

Pressure relief valves may be an option although I have no idea how easy they are to install. Maybe someone more experienced here knows?

Just something to consider , the weight rating for the transom includes everything , Outboard, jackplate and that fuel tank with fuel. All going to add stress .

Yes I will post some pics of me on the water next week after boating, I already had the boat on the river just below Hoover Dam and the boat ran great and was checking for any issues, just a couple minor ones and its all fix and ready for the water again this week end.

The boat planes less than 2 seconds, I did install a PermaTrim plate and with my hydraulic jackplate this boat just gets up and rocks.

Cant wait till the Tohatsu 50hp is broke in than I am going to check my top speed, I am using a 14 pitch prop now but might move up to a 15 pitch after the break in period.
