So I took on advice and bought a second hand aerotec 420 with a 2006 mariner 15 hp longshaft 2 stroke outboard
Moving house so unlikely to try it out for a few weeks.
I need to buy a few things in the meantime:
12v electric pump - what sort should I get? Want one with a pressure guage/switch and a vacuum so I can pack the boat smaller
Transom wheels - what sort fit? Decent diameter wheels needed
Can anyone email me an instruction manual for the aerotec? Or is it online somewhere...
I have read that a lot of people are mounting their outboards a little higher on the transom, is this likely to be the case the mariner?
I have a nice folding anchor but need advice on what to put on it, chain, rope etc. My previous anchor experience is on a 30 tonne barge! We have the bow bag with the aerotec so I'm thinking of stowing it in there.
Hoping for a dry September to get some use out of it!
