Caused a stir on here a few times, all entertaining though. Good news on his recovery, life has way of reminding us that it's rather fragile, enjoy while u can.

Tinker because I clicked on this Yamaha 15 2T on Ebay the seller has sent an offer for £1300 which is getting on the way towards where it should be. Note a 2018 so 12yrs less age related issues than the last of the generally on sale ones. I don't know of the seller and I have some condition concerns such as the beat up cowl which can indicate a general lack of care for the motor.

Cheers, Had a look at that, cracked case is a bit off putting, seems to have some corrosion on the oqne side of the block so reckon it may have been like it for some time. I will just wait until a better one comes along.

Yep best left really but every one you look at helps build a price vs condition idea.

Be fair to me. "Big time" was just a phrase. In that thread you rightly pointed out the error of buying a bolt your life could depend on based on thread alone, that it could be made of cheese and the spec should be considered, that his purchase decision was misguided and a gamble.

Despite you putting all that politely what you got back from Easdale rather than thanks, a fair point I'll buy the correct bolt was a glib and sarcastic response.

By the way I now have a job in the Fens perhaps you would like to meet up for lunch and we can have a little chat. I am buying

There certainly needs to be a fixing for the fuel tank. Perhaps glueing on some rings to the floor for a strap.

Yes weight distribution is also important

Also I think it might help if I put the outboard in a hole.

I have been so busy this trip with other boats that I have not had much time to experiment but will do so later in the year hopefully.

As for cavitation in the turns there was a little but not a lot.

Having got the boatworld cat. I would deffo say this is the better one on several levels and it is half the price.

Look like great craic anyway and you can't beat how cheap they are. I wish they did one a little longer.

I do it because I enjoy it, hope others enjoy it and also hopefully to inspire others at all ages to get out and do stuff.

As for my advice. I give it and if others want to follow it it is up to them

More videos to come

Oh I forgot to say that my YouTube channel while very small (841 Subscribers at the moment) is getting on average 21,000 views per month so quite a few people are interested in the videos I share and the advice I give.

I get a lot of very nice positive comments also

I am certain also that some of my viewers come along and join Ribnet

Hi Paddlers, can that be done from a mobile or do I have to use my laptop? Can't seem to find the ignore/block function even though I done it before

Found it!
