It's a personal thing but I dislike full triangular bow bags. I have the original one for my Aerotec that came with it new (not selling as it would be part of the package if I ever sold the boat) and even with the proper one it was not an ideal solution.
They don't reach the floor so any significant weight is a real strain on the boat's fixing rings which can break. Because they are at the bow where the action is most violent in a chop everything in them gets shaken like a washing machine. Also in the circumstances you want to get out over the bow they are in the way... such as nosing into say a pontoon with very little space needing to climb out that way.
My solution is to have a selection of dry bags and spread them about the boat as needed. A couple are usually at the bow and they can be tied on to the existing bow bag rings but at a length where they are sitting supported on the floor and more out of the way.
