Bravo pump glitch

Hi all, been a while since i posted.

Got issues with my bravo pump, its the btp12 turbo. Basically it sometimes kicks in amd sometimes doesn't. There are two relays that make a horrible buzzing sound on the pcb so i figure that must be the issue. Anyone had any joy with replacing them? Thanks.

We have a BTP digital and had the same problem a couple of years ago. Long story short, it was caused by not getting a full 12 volt input. If we tried running it from the boat battery that had been left for a few weeks it would start in the first phase then cut out. I then plugged it into the car 12v outlet with the engine running and it ran perfectly, and still does.

Hope this helps.

I'd agree. Either a below par small battery if that's what you're using... or too long a lead if connecting to the car with an extension.

I made up an extension to connect to the car but as long as the car engine is running it's absolutely fine.

Thanks all, i'm sure the van battery is ok but i'll try running the engine to make sure. Could be rusty crocodile clips too i guess.
