Bulge between air chambers

I just noticed this on my boat after having it for a year (but not using it that much). On the starboard side there's a noticeable bulge between the two air chambers, but the port side looks fine.

Is this something that I can just ignore? Will it cause any problems in the long run?

Notice that the bulge is there even after I let air out.

Is it a bulge or is it a baffle pulling it in at that point as if it's been glued in place a little too tight?

That's easily adjusted by putting air back into the tube. Depending on which way your internal baffles lie, try pumping more air into them to equal the pressure. The baffle inside the tube is pulling it, making it distort and pulling the tube in.

This distortion at the point of baffle attachment varies between makes/models and also different boats of same make and model. I've seen loads of variation over the 10 SIBs we've owned. It's just a cosmetic thing not a problem.

When you inflate the boat alternate chambers as you fill. I usually fill each chamber about 3/4 then go around once to almost full then go around again to finish. <Yeah it's annoying>
I wonder if you are filling one chamber to 100% and the baffle is pulling/pushing more than when all the chambers are blown up equally.
