C&RT 30 day explorer license?

Hello all, have purchased a 30 day explorer pass earlier, received an email confirming and providing a sheet with 30 blank boxes on it. Is this the licenses? Do I just date the box when I'm on the river and carry the sheet with me?

Thank you.

Yes, but don't waste any time by trying to find anyone from the EA who might be interested though unless you use a lock, then the lock keeper will take your number.
Save your email though and if you fill your sheet you can print another off.

You need to fill it in before launching, and you will certainly need to show it if you use a manned lock. A wicked person would carry a blank and a pen and fill it in only if they looked likely to be asked to present it.

Personally, I don't mind paying, because it costs money to maintain the waterways and we're very lucky in this country.

Funnily enough we said the same of the £9.20 day licence for last Sunday. As we reached the lock at out turn round point it was all well kept with CCTV and some new (well I'd not seen them before) canoe porterage points... gentle steps completely by-passing the lock and cruiser tying up area. Very neat and a great resource.
