Caesar Surfcat / Thundercat

Hi,

I have recently bought a Caesar Surfcat and it should be ready to ship out next week.

Has anyone on here bought one and imported it to the UK?

Jacques said he can only get it to the port, but I don't think I can collect it from the port and would therefore need to get a UK freight forwarder to collect it from the port and deliver it to me.

I was hoping someone may be able to help point me in the right direction.

Thanks for any help,
Glen

What size is the package? Shiply is a good service I’ve used several times to move vehicles around the country.

Whatever you do, get it collected as soon as it’s cleared customs, don’t let them store it for you, myself and Rolfhat learnt the hard expensive way that their storage charges are extortionate [emoji15][emoji15]

Yep, definitely worth paying the little bit extra and just use the fastest collection option you can! Cheaper than paying the holding fees

I got a boat shipped from NI - just as freight and when I knew it was on the ship I headed to the Port, they unloaded and then i collected it - just hitched it up and drove it away (The only thing in the port you need a hi vis jacket and helmet - but they provided one).

Finally Arrived

Finally got my Surfcat delivered last week after numerous delays thanks to COVID.

Just need to find an engine for it now.

That's a good looking boat! Bumblebee
Some of the ex rnli engines are 17.5 inch shaft, not quite short which is 15
