Can two guys surf launch a 40hp?

Looking into a boat to get into Hollister Ranch for surfing. The deai is that we'd need to surf launch at Gaviota and then boat 10 miles up the coast to the waves.

We'd like as much power as possible and see a 40hp 17' for sale. Think that'd be too heavy?

What about a Thundercat / zap cat or a surfcat / GRX420?

50hp and built for going through surf.

Edit: do you mean launch through surf, or carry to launch point. The above are easiest on trailers

RIBase
As Rob says that's what surfcats/thundercats were designed for, you get launching trailers which make it very straightforward, proper chunky bubble tyres for the sand
