Costco SIB 2021
I came across an old thread on here where people were buying a 3.3m SIB capable of taking a 15hp engine from Costco for less than £500. I was wondering if they or an equivalent are still available and if the price has gone up much? Normally I'd be a conventional GRP dinghy kind of man but if I can get an affordable SIB that's light enough to drag up the beach on transom wheels, be deflated and go in the back of the car and still be able to take a 10hp, 2 stroke outboard to give a little turn of speed then I'd be interested in giving a SIB a go. Not interested in spending thousands at this trial stage though.

It's going to be made in China.
Hope this fits the bill:

Don't know anything about the sibs they sell but their diving gear and accessories have a good reputation. They do a lot of business with the Police, Rescue Services and Military.

What do you expect for £499, Hypalon 🤔
The OP doesn't want to spend a lot, so you get what you pay for.

One seller is stating 8hp, the other is stating 15hp.?

Ah, I’d missed out on the minor detail there. I’m hoping to go for a 2 stroke 9.9 in any case.

At the end of the day you are buying a cheap SIB.
3 dealers who bought wholesale selling the same SIB on eBay V's 1 seller who is selling an imported SIB in their own name who's reputation (re: diving gear) would be severly dented if it wasn't ok.
I know which way I'd be inclined to go, and I can personally vouch for their customer service.
