I'm not a serious sibber but do love pottering around and fishing from my Honwave t38ie here in Teignmouth.
I only have a 5hp outboard, which gets me around fine but I'm not going to keep up with the big boys. 😊

Yeah it's a really nice place, I love it.
Very easy launching from the Polly steps slipway, you can park there all day for £3 or £35 four the whole year. Launching is free.
You can launch at pretty much any state of tide, except maybe low tide on a spring tide.
Then you've got the estuary to explore, nice and sheltered, and then out to sea you have the beaches between here and Torbay and then Hopes Nose and Torbay in one direction, Dawlish, Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton in the other direction.
Let me know if you come this way, I might be about myself. 👍

Ha! No it's not actually, I think there are 3 Honwaves in the different racks, one 3.2 and a couple small ones.
Mines a 3.8 and I think I'd struggle to get it upright in a rack even if there was a spare one.
I pump and deflate each trip using a Bravo pump. I can usually get pumped and fully ready to go in 15-20 minutes.

I live just a couple minutes from the Teignmouth slipway, so I'm very much a last minute person.
If anyone is planning on a trip here and wants some company, let me know and I'll see if I'm free.
As I said though, I've only got a 5 HP Mariner 4 stroke, so I won't be racing you to Torquay any time soon.
I do like a bit of fishing, trouble is the fishing is far better in the estuary at the moment, which means fishing from the shore.
Hopefully this wind will bring more fish inshore.

As for the fish, there's more needed than the wind.

Thread revival!
Has anyone met up from here? I'm based in Exmouth and hope to fish/explore the area with some like minded sib'rs.
Thanks
