Dux Hammerhead Performance

I recently purchased a dux hammerhead with a 30 hp evinrude etech.
How well can I expect this boat to perform. I like to cruise with my wife, son and two golden retrievers. Will this boat get up on the hi-jackers easily with them or am I under powered.
What can be done to improve the performance of the etech and /or boat?
Please let me know what has worked for you....

It depends on the total weight you have in the boat, what height your motor is at and what pitch prop, let me know if i can help,

I have been looking at the tunnel hull type boats. They seem to track very well and would be better in choppy seas.
How long is your boat and how fast will the 30 hp push along when it is only you in the boat?

we currently have 2 models 13ft and 10ft, both these hulls are made to the same specs as our race boats and can be used for recreation or racing. You should see ball park speeds of 35-40mph once again depending on setup and load in the boat, feel free to contact me if you have any questions. tbillinger@highcommanddistributing.com

Really? I was expecting my regular 13ft SIB with a 40hp (when I buy it) to go at that speed. Have I miscalculated?

with a stock 50hp on our 13ft you will see speeds of 50-55mph, Aquarius Boats are race boats that are used for recreational purposes as well, they are designed for speed and stability at speed. there are many factors that can decrease or increase your speed such as engine height and prop speed, feel free to call me if you have any questions at all, 647-955-6972

Do you have a website where I can view the types of center consoles and seating for the 13 footer? What is the maximum hp you can hang off the back of it and what would be the top speed?
