Back on track an air pressure gauge for checking the tubes after launch. If you dont want to take your expensive Bravo or a n other battery pump out with you then a cheapo foot pump will do the job but its got no gauge.

I was thinking of taking the outdoor master shark with us on the boat just in case it needed more air, hence the reason of the poover battery and 12v sockets. It’s rated at 20ah so should be enough to power the pump as I think they need 10ah.

I think you’re confusing capacity with discharge current. The 20Ah is the storage capacity of the battery. I.e. 20A for one hour or 1A for 20 hours, or anywhere in between. The pump will draw 10A so in theory a fully charged battery will power a 10A load for 2 hours. However the battery will have a maximum discharge current, which is the maximum current it can deliver continuously. This may be lower than 10A, best to check.

I seem to have misplaced my little user booklet but the airfloor has it stamped on and the others are 3-3.5psi.
My pressures are
air floor 0.7 bar 10psi
Tubes 3psi
Keel 3.5psi

Pikey Dave I checked on the battery and it has instant discharge of 20a and continuous of 10a and in the description says it’ll power an air pump so hopefully I’ve made the right decision. Did you have a look at one on eBay?
Oldman2, it’s great that you’ve posted the air pressures, I’ll write them down and keep them at hand. Do you inflate the sausage last ?

Yes sausage last Tel.
I have quickly made a pdf doc of the pages in the manual relating to this boat. I do think a review by an English proof reader might have been wise.

Poover battery has arrived so now to build my battery box and 12v sockets.
Life jackets arrived too, well done to cactus navigation for their extremely quick service. I shall certainly buy from them again. I’ll more than likely get the garmin 7 and horizon 300 from them too.

I'm wondering about moving to a 100% integral battery handheld Garmin chartplotter and selling on my Garmin 45DV... also not bothering any more with a depth transducer. This is all about stripping back every bit of weight and setup faff. Been looking at the unit I might want on the Cactus site so good to know they are efficient.

I don’t normally give praise to a company, but they deserve it. I ordered online around lunchtime and they arrived today. They sent emails so that i knew exactly what was happening with the order.

I'd agree about the service from Cactus. I got a Horizon Hx890 from them at a really good price. Delivered within 24hrs of ordering and communication was good.

Just wondering if you ended up getting the Suprod HD200s, and if so what do you think? They look like contenders for my new boat!

Yes I got them. I had to do a little modification on them. If you look at fenlanders thread you will see I posted some photos of them on there. In use they are pretty good. No problem at all on a hard surface with the boat fully loaded. But very difficult to pull on very soft shingle beach. But I imagine all sibs are like that on very soft shingle. All in all they are well worth the money.

Thanks. Yeah, I think you are right - any wheels are going to struggle on shingle. I fish out my mate's quicksilver which has Suprod 260s on, and they are the same, so I think short of some really large and fat wheels it's never going to happen. In which case I do like the look of these foldables, and Suprod seem to build things of a high quality (from what I've seen), so I trust they have thought the folding mechanism though!
Just to confirm, you absolutely can't (easily) remove the wheels at the end of the day, so they are on and folded into the boat at pack down?

Yes. You just fold them back to the transom and fold away the boat. They are very well made, although I did grease the springs before I fitted them just to give them a little protection against water. They are supplied with 2 lengths of bolts and locking nuts and they also come with domed nuts too which is what I used.

Thanks - ordered. Maybe a little impulsive, but with a delivery time of up to 10 days I don't want to be stuck and no wheels for too long! Eyeballing the transom of the T38 and I think it will work, although it would be good to know the exact height of the transom if anyone has it to hand? It would be useful if they had more comprehensive spec sheets for these boats online.

Mattster. I don’t think you’ll be waiting 10 days. When I ordered mine they arrived within 3 days. I assume you’ve ordered through tiptaps. I ordered from them but on the Amazon site. The only reason I did this was so that if I wasn’t happy with them then it was a free return.
