Mine arrived by truck and was one big cardboard box. Inside was the boat in a red wrapper and alongside was oars, seats, seat covers, foot pump & repair kit.

what sort of rough dimensions is it now as in the photo - so I can think about where to put it in the car.

Thanks

110cm long by 30cm x 60cm is the boat bag as repacked by me, it could be less if you tightly packed it.
You still have a second bag with air floor, oars etc to fit in the boot.

Mine was reasonably easy to wheel about with just the outboard 28kg fitted but became difficult with nose weight of anchor + chain & rope. Moving stuff around or adding after launch would keep the nose weight down for 1 handed use.

Hi notebook. I will be buying an Elling KB 350 in the new year ( just waiting for boatworld to give me a call to tell me when they are ordering new stock ) you may want to read my threads as they have some details of the Elling and also of the transome wheels I’ll be getting. I’ve done a lot of research into the boat and everything else. There’s also a 20 min video on YouTube about the Elling and also on the Ellingboat.com website. If you look at the website on a pc or laptop it can be translated to English. Same with the YouTube video if you change the settings. I’m very looking forward to getting it next year. I’ll be doing a new thread soon as everything I’ll be buying with it and for it.
Happy new year to everyone on here. Your advice as been invaluable to me.

I cant add much more to what Oldman2 has said as mine was unpacked and has been on my trailer ever since.

I have a 9.8hp on weight 40kg with the basis launch wheel fitted by boatworld, i am not a youngster and do not have much of a problem pulling it off the trailer and putting it into the water but I do have a concrete ramp to launch from and retrive, the more weight you put in the boat like any inflatable the harder it will be to launch. (It could do with bigger wheels that I will be sorting next year)

The link below is where I have bought my Borika mounts from Magnus.ES they are very good to deal with, as boatworld did not have them in, also they sell the Elling KB350 if interested

https://magnusboats.lv/en/home/378-elling-kb350.html

Hope this is some help

I’m looking forward to it too. Over the last few months I’ve done a lot of research into the different sibs ( prices, weights, etc ) I’ve come to the conclusion that the Elling is the best I’ll get even though it’s quite expensive compared to others. It’ll be mainly used for fishing so I liked the idea of the borika mounts on it, but it was mainly the weight that did it for me. Being a course match fisherman I know what it’s like to hump around about 60 or 70kg to my peg and feeling knackered afterwards that you don’t feel like fishing anymore. As I’m not getting any younger the 45kg appealed to me so hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy my time on the water rather than thinking of it as a chore. With any luck I’ll be getting a call from boatworld soon to tell me they are making their order. I’m hoping to be out in it by March or April.
Let’s hope next year is better than this one was.

Yes. But to be honest, I’m a fair weather fisherman. As I’ve got older I’m preferring to stay in the warm. Having said that, whenever I’ve been out on a boat the weather has never bothered me. Maybe it’s just the excitement of being out on the water

I fished it as a young lad with a team from casnewydd (Newport) years and years ago. ended up in Coombe abbey in the final. We did rubbish.... Cant remember the match, but remember the rabbits with myxomatosis - Early 70s
