The minimum air pump to count with If you're a big heavy guy with a "heavy duty leg" is to get a Bravo 4 foot pump and carry it around car, sib. Has high/low pressure ports. One for tubes/keel, the other for air topping any air floors, deeep V inflatable decks, sibs with speed tubes.
Years back when used to be a airfloor sibber modified a 12 V electric tire pump to inflate my air floor to 12 PSI. Removed original tire hose and tire adapter, was just screwed into motor. Screw a new hose with middle pressure gauge between motor and hose extreme, a special valve adapter that maintained valve pin opened all the time was made at a machine shop to state of the art match a standard US/Asian gray Halkey Roberts Valves.
Once adapter was inserted on valve and pump turned on, you could see the neeedle moving nervously on scale as this is a puf, puf non constant air flow pump. For a steady reading just needed to stop pump and needlee would stay at a given inflated pressure.
Down issue, as there's always a down issue was that took extremely long time to top the air floor to 12 PSI, you could literally have smoked a pack of cigaretts in a row if being a heavy smoker or drank a 6 beer pack one after the other...
One day inflated to complete 14 PSI and didn't burst, so it was the way to go time after that, once on water resting for some minutes for pressure to stabilize, overall pressure dropped to sweet 12 PSI which worked very well as I'm not a feather champ boating guy. With 14 PSI skipped the re inflation process.
Must say that my air floor and sib were just 2 months old when were factory delivered down here, probably an old, dried fabric, highly exposed to sun and the elements would have burst way before.
