F470 Speed Tube Inflation

Evening Gents,

My F470 didn't come with the elbow to connect the speed tubes to the main tubes. Defender was able to locate the parts, I believe it was called the "Lower Tube Elbow Kit", or something to that effect. Trouble is, they want $400-ish for it, and they're out of stock.

Does anyone have a good workaround for this? I think there's also a kit that connects to the speed tube valves and extends over the transom, but I can't locate that either. I would like to be able to top off the speed tube pressure after the boat has cooled down in the water.

There is not so much pressure on this pipes. Have you checked cooling pipes or similar the original is made out of plastic and my are attached with tie wrap’s ��

Go to mirada - https://www.miradaresearch.com - they make the PRVs for the zodiac and wing boats/tubes. They also have the parts you need and are machined aluminum and not plastic. The Marines upgrade the 470’s with these parts and also add in a shut off valve just in case (the speed tubes fail and the gator clamps are crap).
