Fastroller 325 vs 360

Hi,

Would appreciate help on purchase decision... Debating between the FR325 or FR360 inflatable air floors. We are two adults and two kids.

Advantage I see on the 360 :
More room
Better handling?
Possibility to add a second seat

I wonder if, hp for hp, a 325 would plane easier? I know that the lenght helps the planing on inflatables but since the FR’s have air floors, I would expect more flex in the longer air floor of the 360? Am I wrong on that one?

Any help/input appreciated

I would go 360 that extra room will matter especially as the kids grow, in terms of performance it will be hardly noticeable I would say go for the largest Hp engine you can straight away have plenty of power spare. Make sure your tube pressures are correct and you will have no trouble

Thank you jeff,

Am I wrong thinking the shorter 325 floor surface would make the planing easier since it’s an air floor and being shorter, less prone to flexing/twisting on acceleration?

I've got a 360 because it was the smallest one for my already owned 15hp engine. The 325 has a max sized engine of 10hp.

There is enough space for family - two big adults and two kids plus some kit and it planes OK.

Two up with camping kit also works well.

I can't compare the seakeeping but I bit off significantly more than I could chew the first real time out and it got us back safe and well.

I think the 325 would be quite cosy for a family of four.

A larger 360 will perform much betther than a shorter 325. Just inflate the air floor, tubes and keel if has one to their max recommended PSI working pressures factory recommended with a pressure gauge. That nice 360 han handle easily a 15 HP or even a tad larger HP motor.

Happy Boating

Hi all. I finally got the 360!!

Any known problems with ventilation?
Yamy 15 two stroke short shaft. Planes quickly but I can’t keep a constant speed without air getting to the prop quickly. It makes the ride not enjoyable. This was in light shop (6-12 inches wakes) 4 onboard.

Any of you experienced this with their 360?
