I have a friend that has asked me to sell his FC470. The boat has a hard deck and we think it is a 2007 . Boat is in good shape but the thrust board is bad. What's a fair asking price for this boat?

Boat would sell for $2500-$5000 if the thrustboard was good.

~6-8 hour job to fix the thrustboard per OEM procedures, so just chop $1000 off the top.

The flat rate by Zodiac Milpro for a proper Thrustboard replacement is 10 hours. The board itself is around $400.00. I have seen a number of quotes for replacement of those at around $1500.00 .

Thanks for the insight on th cost to fix. I was really more interested in a fare selling price.
As for the condition of the boat, a couple of patches but holds air well. Valves are complete and all work properly. Transom is in fine shape and all baffles are in tact.

The boat should be arriving middle of next week. I will post pics and list all accessories then. We want a quick sale and will be asking $1900 for it all.

Hard deck is $ just by itself mate, if not thrashed.
