That looks good Oldman. My only issue with a sack barrow solution is that we had one gathering dust in the shed for quite a number of years - in very good nick, as well. I finally put it on freecycle last year during a clean out after some "persuasion" by my wife. I think if I went out and bought another one now it might not only be my back I have to worry about!
Repair update:
Finally got round to it today, after a friendly neighbour manhandled the boat into my kitchen. With humidity around 50% after a week of 80-90 I thought I'd better get on with it.
I think I'm happy enough with how it went. One slight mishap when first applying (line up), so removed and applied more glue to both halves and went again with no problem (so total of 3 coats, first 2 dry and 3rd tacky). It's not perfect, but it was very hard to get the area flat because of where it is on the curve, and also with the baffle underneath inside.
