Count yourself lucky to be able to go on the water for an hour, over here in Canada we have over a meter of ice on the water.
I don't know any icebreaker RIB or SIB....

still to get flares etc...so will be sticking very close to shore to begin with
the only place i can launch close to eastbourne is newhaven, so i'll need to
find some more launch sites with parking for the car and trailer
