Fish Finder

Anyone used one if these cheapy Chinese fish finders? Seems to be the cheapest on the market.

Nope.

If it'll give you bottom features it'll be usable though. Unless you're hunting Mackerel, you don't see many fish that you actually catch.

Yea I've got one to roughly map depths of a local river for fishing purposes. Tried it once in the sea and it went a bit mental.

Not sure they like salt water.

I think I'm right in saying that the picture of the display with the key next to it shows all that the unit is capable of displaying, i.e., the parts of the LCD that are either black or transparent. So not a lot of finesse...
