Floor for military 5.2m Avon

Be grateful if anybody can help with finding a floor for a 1993 5.2m military avon inflatable, or if anyone has made a floor for one, could they let me know how they did it.Email is bruce@keeping.eclipse.co.uk

hello Bruce,

not sure if i can help as mine may be different, i have an old 5.2 avon that i am about to make a new floor for, mine has a solid wooden keel and hinged in the middle floor board ( see my previous post's for pics ) i can give you all the dimensions you want if you think its a similar boat.

give me a shout if you want more info

Floor for military avon

Hallo Jonny,
Would be very grateful if you could forward the dimensions. Thats interesting that yours has a solid wooden keel. This has an inflatable keel and the original had a slatted aluminium floor which is only £2000 from Avon !!!!!

Hi Bruce,

sorry long time since last post been busy and lost the sheet of paper i had the dims on and have only just managed to get the boards out to re-measure so here goes:

there are 2 no boards 1360 wide x 1200 long & 1 no board 1360 wide x 685 long they are on the main flat area of the boat then there is a final piece wich measures 1360 and diminishes to 1020 wide x 685 long the egdes are 34mm thick in a curved profile.
