Better try to get new or second hand original floors to work as expected, wooden panels are easy to make, but stringers, side joiners are not that easy to make if you don't have originals from where to copy same...

Happy Boating

the boat is an old avon, with a single seat, and a plate on the transon stating that its rated for a 6hp engine, and will take up to four people. I cant imagine that they still make them new, unless theres a new model that is the same dimensions? Suppose I could try ebay etc for a second hand floor?...will have a look. Does anyone have a pic or is anyone close by me (bury st edmunds) that could show me the joiners for the floor?...cheers!!!

Have a look at a Zodiac 285 wooden floor for inspiration. Then just measure yours up and use the same system. Get your ply to fit the ally extrusions rather than the other way. Bit of a project but you could then even fit an air keel between the boat floor and the deck.
just needs to be a tube really.
