difference floor panels of Futura with big/small tubes?

Hi,

Was wondering if the floor panels of the Zodiac Futura MK2/3 might be the same between the model with small and big tubes? The older ones are more easily available, so one could make an Aluminium one of the Fastroller with them.

Thanks

Yep, they're the same floor. Bow boards are different though. Old model had narrower speed tubes, that inflated near the keel. New model with the big tubes, the inflation hoses are on the transom.

Sounds good. You mean that only the floor panel in the front is different?
That's plywood (at least on the older ones) so that's no big deal.

At least the small tubes MK2C has different plywood panels than my big tubes MK2.

I received the rough dimensions (hard to measure with rounded corners) of a normal small tubes MK2 , and these plywood panels seem to differ from my measurements as well. I'm making a test version now, so wel'll see...

I have a Mk2 Futura S (approx 2000 model) I recently made a complete new set of floor panels - They are actually out of the SIB at the moment as I am doing some upgrade works. Can I help with data??

Yes would be great if you can measure the horizontal and vertical lines pictured here. Line A actually should be at the bottom of the panel. Think that panel is tapered as well.

Hope these drawings help. Dimensions are cut sizes before rounding corners. I also routed all the outer edges and holes (rounded) to protect the PVC SIB material.

By the way, I meant to add
For finishing the 1/2" Marine ply I used a full clear epoxy coat, followed by a non-slip paint coat, followed by a Toplac RED. So far it looks well and feels good to walk on in the wet.
