Grabner Happy Cat Inflatable Catamaran!

Just bought one of these to use on touring holiday around Europe next month. Looks like fun!

Inflatable catamaran Grabner

Just about qualifies as a SIB as you can put an outboard on it as well!

Anyone seen any for sale in the UK i.e and UK dealers? Would not mind getting a few accessories and the the carriage from Austria is a bit much.

Isn't it!

I've been tempted by a Tinker Tramp or the like, that looks fun as well, and like it might go upwind a bit better.

This is to replace a Tinker Tramp! I bought a lovely one last year and it is class but 1 adult and 1 kiddy is doable but a squeeze. This should fit all 4 of us so hopefully = more fun! Just in from trying to put it together and getting the main frame together was a mare cos the trampoline had not stretched yet - hopefully due to lack of use.

Want to get the assembly off pat before heading to France. Also need to sus some launch wheels for it.

Its definitely an interesting concept. Nearly bought a Dart 15 but saw this and thought it would tick the travelling with a boat box!

That's intersting. I thought there'd be a little (like 2 adults) more room in a Tramp.

Guess I don't want one now!

Very practical and well built to max detail, have thought of everything. BTW, how much is a new one ? Do you plan to keep it assembled, lot's of work involved if not.

Happy Boating

A new one is about 6000 Euros but they are built to last! Tubes are way better than the tubes on my rib!

Mine will be transported in the boot of my Motorhome initially. If I really like it I will maybe trailer it at home but part of the appeal for me is that its not another trailer to look after!

Crumbs, it's huge!

How long did it take to set up?

Its actually dead easy to put up. I struggled to get the 4 bits of the aluminium frame around the trampoline together (cos the trampoline is quite new and not stretched).

Reckon 20-30 mins should easily do it.

Just need to get some launch wheels sorted as don't want to drag it to the water.
